Pyatenko A. was born in 1955 in Russia. He graduated Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1978. He had his PhD degree in Chemical Physics in 1981 at the same University. He had worked as researcher, senior researcher at Institute of High Temperatures Russian Academy of Science (IVTAN). Since 1993 he worked as senior researcher at National Institute of Advance Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan Since 2001 his main research interests are nanotechnology and laser processing. He published many papers in high rang journals, gave the invited lectures at several international Conferences. He is a specialist in nanoparticle synthesis, modification and resizing using laser technique. Area of expertise nanoparticle synthesis, processing and characterization laser interaction with nanoparticles light absorption and scattering by nanoparticles processes of Nanoparticles aggregation, agglomeration and dispersion.

He is the current President/CEO and Professor at the International Institute of Medicine and Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Medicine (Oncology), Critical Care Medicine, and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Previously, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (Office of Research Oversight), and Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and for a time Acting Chair of Radiology at its Loma Linda, California Medical Center. He has extensively published (in excess of 380 publications including patents, books & monographs, book chapters, refereed articles) and has lectured extensively in the USA, Europe, Africa and Asia. He has been the recipient of numerous research grants from government, academia and private industry, and has consulted extensively with these entities. Dr. Jean-Christophe P. Gabriel current fields of interest are (i) 0,1 and 2D nanomaterials/nanoparticles, their properties (collectives or individual) and their applications in electronic, sensing, characterization, purification etc…; (ii) developing new extraction/recycling processes (dismantling, sorting, dissolution, separation and liquid-liquid or solid-liquid extraction). He is also a Project Officer reporting to the Director of CEA’s exploratory program. Jean-Christophe joined CEAin 2007 as LETI institute’s “Beyond CMOS” program manager as well as business director of the academic - industry Caltech – LETI alliance, which led to the creation of the Startup Apix Technology (apixanalytics.com). Then from 2009 to 2016, he has been deputy director of CEA’s Nanoscience program (budget: 1 M€/year). His major role involved detecting, maturing, financing and help maximizing the output of seed projects (~12-15 per year). It also involved helping more mature projects toward high value creation, by finding applied outcome, industrial collaborative partners or by helping in startups launch. Since 2008, this program generated 260 publications, 4800+ citations, (31% (6%) of them ranked in the world top 10% (1%) most cited publications, respectively), 29 patents and 4 startups. Former student at the “EcoleNormaleSupérieure” in Paris, he received his Ph. D. from Orsay’s University and his Habilitation from Joseph Fourier’s University in Grenoble. His career is a mixed academic – industrial one. He indeed started his career at CNRS (4 years at Jean Rouxel Institute, IMN, Nantes) followed by 6 years in the Californian startup Nanomix (nano.com) where he was one of the first employee. In this Berkeley spinoff he helped in the technology transfer of nanomaterials and carbon nanotubes technologies, helped raised $34 million of venture capital money and with his team was the first to put an integrated nanotube based electronic device on the market (a hydrogen sensor, in 2005). Jean-Christophe has published more than 50 papers in international peer reviewed journal and is co-inventor on more than 50 patents andpatent applications, many of them dealing with nanomaterials, carbon nanotubes and graphene. His overall publications & patents have received 6300+ citations and his h-index is of 35 (Google Scholar).

Andrey Nikolaevich Belousov graduate from Kharkov Medical Institute in 1988. Doctor of Medicine degree on speciality - Anesthesiology and Intensive Care since 2004. The title dissertation: Extracorporal hemocorrection using magnet-controlled sorbent in intensive therapy of intoxication syndromes in patients with hepatopancreatoduodenales diseases. Author a new medecine products – nanotechnology preparations based on magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4) of the size 6-12 nm (www.nanolab.com.ua): the peroral form - Micromage-B (the biologically active additive officially registration in Ukraine); Magnet-controlled sorbent brand of MCS-B for extracorporal detoxication of biological liquids (officially registration in Ukraine and was allowed for medical practice); NanoBiocorrector for intravenous application – ICNB (intracorporal nanosorbent). A.N. Belousov is author new method of extracorporal hemocorrection using magnet-controlled sor bent (MCS-B). Author a new program for estimation degree the severity of the patient. Based on previously developed a universal analytical system of the physiological state of the body (PHUAS) by the author proposed a new automatic program objective assessment of the severity of the patients condition. Overall, the program can improve health of the population in terms of underfunding by the rapid and objective examination of a large quantity of people. Early on, with the help of the developed program is made possible among surveyed identify risk groups in the severity of general condition, to determine the optimal and effective options for prevention and treatment, saving time and money for the survey, use the data to correlate them with various factors influence of the environment (ecology, nutrition, addictions, drug, vaccine, methods of intensive therapy, pharmacotherapy, etc.). The published more 160 scientific works on results application of nanotechnology preparation in experimental and practical medicine. He has got 7 patents for the invention, 21 collected scientific articles, 68 works in other publications and thesis of reports at international conferences and congresses, including 35 of them abroad (Rumania, Austria, Germany, Czech, Switzerland, Hungary, Denmark, Portugal, Italy, Canada, U.S.A., China, India, and others). Author of the scientific film which focuses on the elaboration of artificial liver device and the development of a new direction in medicine – Nanotechnology. Andrey Belousov was awarded Medical Diploma of Europe An Honorary Scholar Europe and R. Koch medal for the scientific achievements, development of a new direction in medicine and elaboration of new method of treatment by means preparations of nanotechnology in 2008. Taj Khan commenced his research career in the National Institute of Lasers and Optronics (NILOP) after finishing his graduation MS studies from Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) Islamabad Pakistan. Taj commenced postgraduate study in the high power (fs, excimer and Fibre lasers) laser-mater interaction in the school of physics, Trinity College Dublin (TCD) since March 2014. In the PhD research project, the group’s thematic goal is at the forefront of research, investigating and developing an atmospheric pulsed laser deposition (APLD) technique for plasmonic nanoaerosols, and nanostructures with potential application in SERS and catalysis. In the group we are developing manifold approaches using various atmospheric plasma devices to establish this novel method for plasmonic nanostructures.
